Realtime duplex voice with the Gemini Live API, built around handing real work to Hermes. A single control in the composer (not a floating panel): tap, speak, hear the model, and when the ask needs files, a terminal, the web or memory the voice model delegates the job to the api server and keeps talking, reading the outcome aloud when it lands. Three verbs rather than thirty schemas — hermes_task starts, hermes_tasks reads the call's task board, and hermes_task_update denies, steers or stops a task. A task that stops to ask permission reaches the user as a spoken prompt and a "Hermes needs you" indicator with Approve and Deny buttons; only the user's press approves it, never the voice model. Multi-task is one Live session plus a board, not a session per task. Mute drops the uplink without hanging up, and the call survives composer remounts, so opening a session mid-sentence does not kill it. Full-proxy architecture: the plugin backend owns the upstream Live socket and the key, and the renderer is never given either, because the Live API carries the credential in the socket URL. Ships no Python dependencies of its own, which keeps it out of the uv workspace and lets one clone serve several profiles. Tested model behaviour is published in the README, including that gemini-3.8-live-extended-thinking accepts a function declaration and then delegates only about 2 times in 5, which is why gemini-3.8-live is the default.

Sends CALDAV_USER and CALDAV_PASSWORD as Basic auth to your CALDAV_URL, does not follow redirects, and starts no local program. Over plain http that password travels unencrypted. The tools are on for every surface, including gateways, and the plugin has no user list of its own: anyone you allow on your Hermes gateway reads the calendar with your password. Turn a surface off with hermes tools. A watch is a cron job you create yourself with hermes cron create. Each run is at least one model turn, there is no daily cap, and the job stays until you run hermes cron remove. Under plugins.isolation: host the watch cannot run and posts a notice saying so on every run. When the watch can run, it reports a problem on the first run, when the cause changes and again after 23 hours, or on every run when its data directory cannot be written. Each request gives up after 20 seconds without data, and a whole call has no time limit. The watch relies on private parts of Hermes, so an update can stop it. State lives in plugin-data/event-read. Not tested against a vendor-hosted calendar.

Runs the user-installed `ttsbuddy` CLI (argument array, speech text on stdin), which sends the text and voice settings to TTS Buddy, downloads the hosted audio and uses the account's quota. Credentials come from the profile's `TTSBUDDY_API_KEY` secret or, when the user selects `cli_config_dir`, from that CLI profile's own saved login, which the CLI may read and update. The model-callable `ttsbuddy_recover` tool downloads an existing job to a new MP3 path the model chooses (never overwrites). The doc_markdown toolset is on by default on every surface, including a gateway, so anyone you allow there can call doc_convert; stop it with hermes tools. It does not fetch pages. Unattended sessions still convert when Hermes calls the tool. This plugin creates no cron job. A child process runs MarkItDown with no Hermes keys in its environment; on macOS the plugin runs ps about every 10 ms to watch that child's memory. It stops 8 seconds after its converters load, at 60 seconds if loading never finishes, or above 922746880 bytes. It is not a sandbox: after realpath it may read any allowlisted path it can open. Unpublished Hermes code locates the Hermes home, and a failed check refuses the path. Removal deletes the plugin directory, not the markitdown package. Windows was not tested.

LowRouter as a Hermes model provider (`--provider lowrouter`, or LowRouter in `hermes model`). The picker shows the 180 `auto/` chat models with tool calling and 64K+ context, plus the user's own `alias/` models, instead of all 719 IDs from /v1/models. Context windows come from LowRouter's catalog instead of Hermes' 256K fallback, and /usage shows the credit balance in euros. LowRouter bills in EUR, so the plugin reports no USD cost and Hermes shows it as unknown. Maintained by LowRouter.

Prompts, tool schemas and LOWROUTER_API_KEY go to https://api.lowrouter.ai/v1 (or the configured model.base_url) through Hermes' client, and LowRouter forwards each request to the host serving the model. The plugin's own requests are GET /v1/models (cached for an hour) and GET /v1/credits on /usage, to the same base URL with the same key, through Hermes' open_credentialed_url. No files read or written, no processes.

HyAtlas 5 — self-hosted 8-layer memory provider backed by a pure-Go single-binary server you run yourself (chromem-go vectors, in-process BGE-small embeddings, hybrid vector + keyword search, bitemporal knowledge graph with source citations). Requires the separate hyatlas-go server, installed by the user. The plugin never downloads or bundles it, and it talks only to the configured server (default 127.0.0.1:19528). Embeddings are computed locally; stored memories leave the machine only in the LLM calls described below. Extraction is opt-in and uses an LLM you choose: `hermes memory setup` asks for any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, model and key, and stores the key in Hermes's .env as HYATLAS_LLM_KEY. The plugin reads that key only through Hermes's get_secret and reads no Hermes credential. A plain key file named by HYATLAS_LLM_KEY_FILE also works; the server reads it on every call, so do not point it at another program's credentials such as Hermes auth.json. The server has no default endpoint and makes no LLM call until the endpoint, the model and a key are all present; while the endpoint and model are set but no key has arrived, /api/v1/status reports llm "awaiting_key". `hermes memory setup`, the repo installer and the sample launcher pre-fill a free Nous Portal endpoint and model (and setup defaults to ultra mode), but nothing is sent until a key is supplied. A server the plugin starts gets that key in its environment;
