Good to know before installing
Desktop-only page; Speak sends your message text through the Hermes gateway to the TTS provider configured in Hermes (cloud providers receive it) and the audio plays on the gateway host, which may be remote; the AI helpers open a separate Hermes chat session per request and send your topic or message as a normal agent turn on your model provider; saved phrases and approved boards are kept in plaintext in the plugin's Desktop storage.

How to install
- Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs, then asks whether to turn it on.
hermes plugins install hermes-aac - Said no? Turn it on later:
hermes plugins enable hermes-aac - Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.
Some plugins also need a sign-in or settings: see Full setup & settings. Memory plugins ask whether to become your memory provider instead. Steps follow the official plugins guide (opens in a new tab).
