Terms of use

The ground rules for using HermesWatcher. Last updated October 2026.

Information only

HermesWatcher is provided for information only, without any warranty. Our guides explain the official Hermes Agent documentation and repository. Hermes changes often, so check the official docs (opens in a new tab) before you rely on a step. Any command you run, you run at your own risk. Back up your work and review commands before running them.

Independence

HermesWatcher is independent. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Nous Research. Hermes Agent is open source under the MIT license (opens in a new tab), and its name belongs to its owners.

Plugins and skills

Our plugin and skill directories list what exists. A listing is not an endorsement. Third-party plugins run code on your machine, so read what a plugin does and who maintains it before you install it.

Content and ownership

The site’s own guides, explanations and design are © HermesWatcher. Material we quote or link to belongs to its owners. Our about page explains where our material comes from, and our disclosures cover sponsorship and affiliate links.

Partnerships

Paid partnerships and sponsorships are covered by separate written agreements. These terms do not create one.

Acceptable use

Please don’t scrape or crawl the site in a way that slows it down or harms the service for others. AI agents are welcome to read the site. A dedicated guide for agents is coming.

Changes

If these terms change, we will post the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
