Comment Scraper
Ask about the Reddit and Hacker News threads you exported with the Comment Scraper browser extension: list, read, search and quote them by comment number.
Good to know before installing
Starts a local stdio MCP server with npx -y comment-scraper-mcp@0.1.0, which npx downloads from npm on first run; the server only reads JSON exports in ~/Downloads and the folders directly inside it, never writes files, makes no network requests, stores no credentials and sends no telemetry.

How to install
- Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs, then asks whether to turn it on.

hermes plugins enable comment-scraper - Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.
