Claude Subscription Directsdk
Official
Experimental model provider that runs Hermes turns on a Claude Pro/Max subscription through the official Claude Code CLI (the Agent SDK path), so no separate API key or per-token bill.
Experimental model provider that runs Hermes turns on a Claude Pro/Max subscription through the official Claude Code CLI (the Agent SDK path), so no separate API key or per-token bill. Requires the claude CLI installed and logged in; the plugin checks for it at load, in hermes model, in the pickers and before every request, and refuses cleanly with the install hint when it is missing.
Good to know before installing
Every turn is billed against your Claude subscription's Agent SDK allowance, and the provider inherits whatever account claude is logged into.

GitHub Copilot model providers for Hermes: `copilot` (the Copilot API with your Copilot subscription: GPT, Claude, Gemini and Grok models, sign in with `hermes auth add copilot` or COPILOT_GITHUB_TOKEN / GH_TOKEN / GITHUB_TOKEN) and `copilot-acp` (drives your installed GitHub Copilot CLI over ACP). Moved out of Hermes core; profiles that used Copilot get it installed automatically. A Hermes Labs plugin: built by Nous Research, not supported.
Good to know before installing
Signs in with GitHub's device-code flow using the Copilot editor OAuth app, exchanges your GitHub token for a short-lived Copilot token at api.github.com and sends your prompts to api.githubcopilot.com (or models.github.ai); it calls GitHub only for profiles that chose Copilot, never runs `gh` or reads other tools' token files, and caches the exchanged token in <HERMES_HOME>/.copilot_jwt.json. copilot-acp runs your local `copilot` CLI.

Reka as a Hermes model provider: Reka's agent-capable models on Reka's OpenAI-compatible API, each with its context window, tool support and image input declared, and reasoning effort sent as Reka's top-level reasoning_effort. Pick Reka in `hermes model` or use `--provider reka`.
Good to know before installing
Registers one model provider at import and nothing else (no tools, hooks, middleware, commands, background work or file access); chat requests (prompts, tool schemas and results, supported user images) and the model list go to https://api.reka.ai/v1 (or REKA_BASE_URL) through Hermes's own client with REKA_API_KEY, which Hermes reads; usage is billed to your Reka account; the plugin itself opens no connections.

Smart API key rotation: the healthiest key for every call, each 429 / RESOURCE_EXHAUSTED / quota refusal sized from its own evidence. Install with its companion hermes-kame-provider, which hands Hermes this plugin's rotating client through ProviderProfile.create_client (and create_messages_client where Hermes offers it); no core override. When Hermes has a fallback list, a busy, resting or slow model hands the reply to the next model of that list, and a late reply can be raced by the next model of the same provider on the same keys and endpoint (the plugin reads the model and fallback_providers from config.yaml, read-only; no new network destination).
Good to know before installing
/kame-keys add|import|split, and on start a key variable holding several comma-joined keys, write one auth.json pool row per key through Hermes' pool API after an owner-only plaintext backup (last 5 kept; switch: resolver_disabled); settings changed from /kame or the Desktop panel are saved as KAME_* lines in Hermes' .env; key-redacted, size-capped owner-only local logs and a status file per profile; the Desktop panel reads that file and queues its settings requests through its own dashboard/plugin_api.py route (GET /state, POST /control, this plugin's plugin-data folder only); while every key is resting and no fallback model can take over, chats (CLI, Desktop, messaging gateway) keep waiting with no total limit (each key's rest capped by max_hold_seconds) and cron runs give up after 300 s with the provider's refusal unless max_total_wait_seconds is set. Extra billed requests (chat replies only; hedge_mode off turns them all off): a late reply may also be sent to up to two more keys of the same model (about 10% of replies, 30% in "Faster", bursts of 3), to up to two next models of your fallback list on the same provider, keys and endpoint, and to one more model of the list when it

Groq as a Hermes model provider (`--provider groq`, or Groq in `hermes model`): reasoning effort is sent in the form each Groq model accepts, so gpt-oss-120b and gpt-oss-20b work (through a custom endpoint, Hermes 0.21.5 sends them a value Groq rejects with HTTP 400), and the model list leaves out Groq's speech-to-text, text-to-speech, prompt-guard and 4K-context models that Hermes cannot run. Not affiliated with Groq.
Good to know before installing

Sign in to Google Antigravity with `hermes auth add antigravity-oauth` (or one command, `npx hermes-antigravity-oauth`) and run Hermes on the Antigravity plan: Gemini 3.x, Claude 4.6, GPT-OSS. Every request is made by Google's official agy CLI under agy's own login. The plugin writes your Hermes SOUL.md and system prompt into agy's workspace GEMINI.md so the persona carries over. When a model reaches for an agy-native tool (run_command, view_file, grep_search, and so on) the call is re-issued as the matching Hermes tool, which then runs under Hermes approvals. agy never executes tools on the host, and unmapped native tools are blocked.
Good to know before installing
Inference counts against the Antigravity/Gemini subscription agy is signed in to. The plugin never reads, copies or uploads the OAuth token. It symlinks agy's antigravity-oauth-token file, and on macOS ~/Library/Keychains, into a per-session private temp HOME, which is deleted on close. It also probes the OS keyring (security / secret-tool / cmdkey) for credential presence only. Derived from antigravity-subscription-directsdk (MIT). Disclosure — inference counts against the Antigravity/Gemini subscription agy is signed in to. The plugin does not read or upload the OAuth token itself; it symlinks (hard-links, or as a last resort copies) agy's antigravity-oauth-token file, and on macOS ~/Library/Keychains, into a per-session private temp HOME that is deleted on close, probes the OS keyring (security / secret-tool / cmdkey) for credential presence only, and writes the full Hermes system prompt into that temp workspace as GEMINI.md each turn. Model leaderboard for Hermes Desktop: a full /model-leaderboard page that ranks any OpenRouter model for a chosen Hermes profile — context window, prices, Artificial Analysis indices and curated SWE-bench Verified / LiveCodeBench — with per-profile criteria, six score views (cards, table, score bars, histograms, heatmap, quality-vs-cost Pareto frontier), an OpenRouter news feed (new models, price changes, promos) and a documented REST surface under /api/plugins/model-leaderboard/.
Good to know before installing
Outbound HTTPS to OpenRouter's public model API (catalogue and pricing) on a 60 s poll and a forced refresh every 10 minutes while the page is visible, and to Hugging Face's public model API (safetensors metadata, for parameter counts) on demand and cached; reads the installed Hermes profiles' own config.yaml files once, to seed the tracked list from the models those profiles declare; keeps its state in <hermes home>/plugin-data/model-leaderboard/ (seeded from the JSON shipped with the plugin), which LLM_DASH_DATA / LLM_DASH_CACHE_TTL can move or tune; the optional "Auto-fill criteria" action runs on the host LLM facade (ctx.llm.complete_structured), so it spends the user's configured model tokens; ships one read-only skill (model-leaderboard:refresh-benchmarks) whose only write is a POST to its own /benchmarks route; no API keys of its own, no writes outside its data directory.

Per-turn model routing for the request that is about to go out. Jev reads the turn, picks the tier it deserves, and the plugin rewrites the provider request onto that model, including the reasoning level when the request carries one. Shadow by default, with notify, confirm and auto modes, a strip under the composer for the turn that was just routed, and a spend ledger. A pick on another provider is reported rather than sent, because a plugin cannot open a second provider client.
Good to know before installing
Once a routing JSON is configured, every turn (shadow mode included) sends the current message, up to 4,000 characters of recent user/assistant turns, the active model name, an estimated context size and the spend/budget snapshot to TypeSafe (api.typesafe.ai, endpoint overridable in that JSON), and the jev_route tool and /jev-routing route send their text the same way; in auto mode it rewrites the model and reasoning level on outgoing requests, and in Hermes Desktop the auto mode and the approve row also switch the session's model, including onto another provider (core's expensive-model confirmation is shown to the user, never answered automatically).

Run Hermes on an Antigravity subscription via the official agy CLI (DirectSDK path). Streams tokens progressively, persists multi-turn trajectories via agy --conversation (up to 239k tokens), discovers models dynamically per account, maps thinking effort, reports quota in /usage, and aborts reported native tools.
Good to know before installing
Routes inference and /usage quota reads through Google's official agy CLI under your subscription (usage counts against it); links (symlink, else hardlink/copy) the antigravity-oauth-token into a per-session private temp HOME deleted on close; probes OS keyring presence (Linux Secret Service, macOS Keychain, Windows Credential Manager) without reading secrets; on macOS symlinks ~/Library/Keychains for CLI session reuse; never writes to vendor credential stores; strips credential-looking environment variables before spawning agy (name heuristic; ANTIGRAVITY_ENV_STRICT for an allow-list). Disclosure — the opt-in ANTIGRAVITY_DEBUG_PROMPT_DIR env var writes every outgoing prompt (full conversation text) to that directory.

EmpirioLabs AI as a Hermes model provider (provider id `empiriolabs`): chat models with tool calling from the live EmpirioLabs AI catalog, each with its context window, image input and reasoning support declared to Hermes, a low-cost auxiliary model picked from the same catalog, and `reasoning_effort` sent only when you choose a level and the model accepts it. Submitted by EmpirioLabs AI.
Good to know before installing
Registers one model provider at import and nothing else (no tools, hooks, commands or threads); chat requests (prompts, tool definitions and tool results) go through Hermes' own client to https://api.empiriolabs.ai/v1 (or EMPIRIOLABS_BASE_URL) with EMPIRIOLABS_API_KEY, which Hermes reads, and are billed to that EmpirioLabs AI account; the plugin itself only reads the model catalog (GET /v1/models, kept in memory for an hour), writes no files and starts no processes.

LowRouter as a Hermes model provider (`--provider lowrouter`, or LowRouter in `hermes model`). The picker shows the 180 `auto/` chat models with tool calling and 64K+ context, plus the user's own `alias/` models, instead of all 719 IDs from /v1/models. Context windows come from LowRouter's catalog instead of Hermes' 256K fallback, and /usage shows the credit balance in euros. LowRouter bills in EUR, so the plugin reports no USD cost and Hermes shows it as unknown. Maintained by LowRouter.
Good to know before installing
Registers one model provider and nothing else (no tools, hooks, commands or threads). Prompts, tool schemas and LOWROUTER_API_KEY go to https://api.lowrouter.ai/v1 (or the configured model.base_url) through Hermes' client, and LowRouter forwards each request to the host serving the model. The plugin's own requests are GET /v1/models (cached for an hour) and GET /v1/credits on /usage, to the same base URL with the same key, through Hermes' open_credentialed_url. No files read or written, no processes.

Requesty LLM gateway as a Hermes model provider (`--provider requesty`, alias `rq`, or Requesty in `hermes model`). The picker lists Requesty's managed routing policies (curated routes with failover, `@eu` variants for EU-only hosting); any Requesty model id or org policy also works. `/reasoning` maps onto Requesty's `reasoning_effort` for reasoning-capable models, the Hermes session id is sent as `requesty.trace_id`, and context windows and estimated cost come from the Requesty catalog. Prompt caching is done server-side by Requesty.
Good to know before installing
Chat requests go to https://router.requesty.ai/v1 (or REQUESTY_BASE_URL) through Hermes' own client with REQUESTY_API_KEY, which Hermes reads; the plugin itself only fetches Requesty's public model catalogs (/v1/models/managed and /v1/models, no credentials), once per process, sometimes on a short-lived background thread. No attribution headers, telemetry, file access or processes. Supersedes #27908.

Cloudflare Workers AI as a Hermes model provider (`--provider workers-ai`, or Cloudflare Workers AI in `hermes model`, which asks for the token and the account's base URL): the 16 Workers AI models with function calling and 64K+ context, Cloudflare's context windows (a custom endpoint lists no models and assumes 256K for the 128K gpt-oss), reasoning effort in the form each model accepts, and a clear message when a free-plan account picks a paid-plan model. Keeps an agent inside its subscription allowance: refuses a provider dispatch once a subscription usage window is exhausted, so an account that allows paid extra usage stops at the wall instead of spending overage. Good to know before installing
Refuses main-loop provider calls (including MoA turns) for the providers in `provider_keys` (Anthropic and OpenAI Codex by default) when a subscription usage window reaches `threshold_percent`, and by default (`fail_open: false`) also refuses when usage data is missing, stale, unreadable, or the guard's own config is malformed; usage is read through Hermes's own account-usage fetcher (no credentials held, at most one read per source every 180 seconds by default) and cached in $HERMES_HOME/plugin-data/usage-guard/usage.json; a `pre_llm_call` hook adds a short usage note to the next turn's context at 80% and 90% used by default, and an opt-in (off by default) `llm_request` middleware lowers an existing output-token budget near the usage limit; both read only the cache, never the network; auxiliary calls (compression, vision, titles, MoA advisors) are not gated.

Probe.py re-executes itself under the Hermes Python interpreter located via HERMES_PYTHON / VIRTUAL_ENV / the parent process or the Hermes installer's managed venv (HERMES_HOME/installs). Every credential read is read-only and nothing is refreshed or stored: it reads provider API keys from the process environment, the Hermes .env, the Vaultwarden plugin's local secret cache (cache/vaultwarden_cache.json, only when Vaultwarden is the sole enabled secret source, keyed by a hash of BW_SESSION, which is never sent) and Docker s6 container env files; Hermes's saved OAuth logins (auth.json credential pool and HERMES_HOME/.anthropic_oauth.json); and other coding-assistant CLIs' local logins: Claude Code (credentials file, macOS keychain or Windows Credential Manager), Codex, Cursor (macOS keychain and the IDE's state.vscdb, opened read-only), Kimi, Grok, ZCode and Command Code. Run several accounts of one provider in Hermes' credential pool: `hermes account <provider> <action>` adds accounts with email verification, shows live usage per account, keeps the least-used account first (fill_first + a 5-minute balance timer over every provider with accounts), parks accounts for hours or on a weekly schedule, shows which bot is on which account and its tokens at API prices, alerts on dead logins, a full pool or a runaway bot, and can start an idle account's 5-hour window with one tiny request (wake). Adapters for anthropic and openai-codex; generic commands for any pool provider. Optional Accounts page in Hermes Desktop. Linux and Windows.
Good to know before installing
Logins stay in Hermes: park holds an entry out of rotation in Hermes' pool (mark_exhausted_and_rotate, reason "parked") and unpark is reset_status; the plugin's park list holds labels, ids and times only; expired tokens are refreshed by Hermes (try_refresh_matching); sign-in, in the terminal and on the Desktop page, runs `hermes auth add`; other profiles' accounts are read with read_credential_pool. It uses each account's access token as Hermes stores it for live usage and the email check (api.anthropic.com/api/oauth/usage and /profile, chatgpt.com/backend-api/wham/usage, with the client headers of Hermes' usage fetcher) and for wake (a command, a page button, or the timer after the opt-in `wake auto-on`): one one-word request per account through Hermes' Anthropic client or the Codex Responses endpoint, and the account's model list. Telegram alerts through `hermes send -t telegram` to the bot's home channel or a chat id kept in account-pool.json; no telemetry. Its session tracker, a post_api_request hook, runs in every profile and writes labels, ids and token counts only. `setup` writes plugins.enabled of every profile, links the plugin into every profile, removes the retired accou

Use your Cursor subscription models (Claude Opus/Sonnet 5.5, Composer 2.5, GPT-5.6, Grok) inside Hermes Agent via the Cursor CLI's ACP server (`agent acp`). Install with one command (`npx hermes-cursor-acp`) or `hermes plugins install cursor-acp`. The plugin rewrites `.cursor/cli.json` in an empty private workspace every run with a deny-all list (`Read`, `Write`, `Shell`, `WebFetch`, `Mcp`) to prevent Cursor's native CLI tools from accessing host files. It includes a custom extractor that recovers both flat `{"name", "arguments"}` and inline `<tool_call>` blocks that standard regex bridges drop, retries on concurrent `set_model` calls, and reports `usage=None` so Hermes proactive context compression functions correctly.
Good to know before installing
Sends the full conversation, Hermes tool schemas and tool results to Cursor through your locally installed, signed-in Cursor CLI (`agent acp`); Cursor's own tools are fenced by a deny-all `.cursor/cli.json` that the plugin rewrites in a private workspace under `$HERMES_HOME/cache/cursor-acp-workspace` on every start (a differing existing file is backed up to `cli.json.bak`), and Hermes executes every tool call under its own approvals.

Picks the reasoning effort for every prompt: a fast judge (Jev/TypeSafe, a local OpenAI-compatible model, or any custom API) reads the next message once per turn and rewrites the request's reasoning effort before it ships — easy questions run cheap, hard jobs get high. Port of effortless for Claude Code.
Good to know before installing
Sends the next message (≤4000 chars) plus a short recent-conversation excerpt (≤1600 chars) to the configured judge endpoint (default api.typesafe.ai for Jev; a local or custom OpenAI-compatible API otherwise), solely to pick the effort; the optional model_map setting (off by default) also switches the turn's model to the one you map to the verdict; keeps recent per-turn token counts in its own plugin state; no telemetry; secrets resolved only through Hermes' secret scope; stdlib-only, no pip dependencies.

Explicit per-profile readiness and native missing-profile preparation; Python installation remains per profile, never automatic on refresh. Profile model settings, default-on Heavy/Light task routing, fallback controls, runtime limits and Fast inheritance. Reads Hermes profile configuration; explicit saves update selected profiles via the native CLI. Routed jobs launch background Hermes children using the user's configured providers/MCP and store private prompts/results locally. No separate credential store, telemetry, self-updater or approval bypass.
Good to know before installing
After you trust and enable the plugin, routing defaults ON for every installed profile without a saved choice, including profiles that installed an earlier version and never saved one (the update turns it on); existing saved OFF and explicit skill opt-outs remain OFF. On enabled profiles, the model-callable `coding_route` tool starts detached background Hermes agents. They get file, terminal and code-execution tools in any existing folder the model names, run under that profile's credentials and approval policy (single-query mode: dangerous commands are refused unless `approvals.single_query_mode: approve`), and their per-job time limit can be set to none. Prompts and results are stored in `plugin-data/model-router/jobs/`. Saving settings writes model, delegation, auxiliary, fallback and `skills.disabled` keys into the config.yaml of the profiles listed in the preview (backups are taken first) and copies a skill into those profiles' `skills/` folders. The Desktop "prepare profiles" action, after you select profiles and confirm, installs and enables this same catalog pin in up to 32 other local profiles through Hermes's plugin manager, where routing then defaults ON. Refusal

Detects when a model refuses a request or deflects to an educational alternative, and retries the turn on the next model in your fallback_providers chain.
Detects when a model refuses a request or deflects to an educational alternative, and retries the turn on the next model in your fallback_providers chain; optionally appends your own text to the retry's system prompt after a refusal. Detection is local and rule-based (regex patterns over the response prose); tool-calling responses, code blocks and partial answers are treated as genuine answers.
Good to know before installing
An llm_execution middleware inspects every model response before the agent loop uses it, and when it detects a refusal it sets finish_reason to content_filter (Anthropic: stop_reason to refusal) so Hermes activates its fallback model; this is logged and counted identically to a real provider-signalled refusal (reason=content_policy_blocked), with no way for a plugin to register a distinct reason, so the detection log line carries session/model/provider/api_request_id to let the two be told apart by hand; a triggered fallback resends the full conversation to the fallback provider and spends tokens there; with no fallback provider configured, Hermes replaces the response with its standard safety-refusal notice, so a false positive discards a valid answer. Optional (off by default, empty preprompt/preprompt_escalated settings): an llm_request middleware appends your configured text to the system prompt of requests in an armed session, so a same-route retry of the same model carries it; armed state is memory-only unless persist_state is enabled, in which case session ids/levels/turn ids (never text or credentials) are kept in Hermes's plugin state. Run Hermes on a Google Antigravity subscription through the official agy CLI, with agy as the model only: a generated custom agent removes agy's built-in tools, Hermes tools are exposed through an inventory-only MCP server with native function calling, and every tool call is handed back to Hermes. Fails closed on any non-Hermes tool step or silent agent fallback; pre-warms agy for fast tool loops.
Good to know before installing
Routes inference through Google's official agy CLI and counts against the Antigravity/Gemini subscription agy is signed in to; the plugin never reads, copies or links agy's credential files. agy runs in your real HOME with the gateway's environment; by default the plugin moves the agy conversation records created by its own idle pre-warmed processes under ~/.gemini/antigravity-cli/ to the trash (trash-put from PATH; ANTIGRAVITY_AGY_CLEANUP=off disables) and pre-warms up to 4 idle agy processes (~400 MB each).

Command Code CLI-key model provider with a live OAuth catalog property bridge, plan limits and failover classification.
Good to know before installing
Uses the CLI-internal api.commandcode.ai/alpha/generate endpoint and CLI client headers, sends the full conversation, tool schemas, cwd path and OS/Python version, and imports a static key from the read-only CLI credential file or a browser hand-off; no OAuth exchange takes place. Experimental model transport using the official Cursor Agent SDK. Requests go to Cursor through its official SDK. The plugin cannot enforce an included-only spending cap and never changes account spending settings. Instructions use a Cursor project rule, not a native system-role override. Permission and prompt-hierarchy equivalence remain unqualified. The plugin spawns Node and a local SDK agent, runs Git initialization in a plugin-owned workspace, and writes project rules, hooks, and SDK state under its own runtime directory. That state may contain private conversation data and currently remains on disk. Credentials come from Hermes's profile-scoped secret accessor. No credential store or vendor token file is read directly by plugin code. Text-only, buffered responses. The bundled model snapshot is not live entitlement discovery. Optional picker hooks require Hermes support. This plugin does not patch the desktop.
Good to know before installing
Spawns Node and a local Cursor Agent SDK worker per request (`npm ci` in the plugin dir installs Cursor's official native platform binaries from npm); sends the full conversation, system prompt and tool schemas to Cursor with your CURSOR_API_KEY; Cursor-native shell/file tools are denied by a fail-closed project hook and the run is cancelled if one fires, but that enforcement is not proven in every Cursor runtime; each request's workspace and conversation state stay under the plugin's runtime/ directory until you delete them.

Gives ChatGPT/Codex-subscription models the context window the backend actually accepts instead of the one its catalog advertises. Measured live on 2026-10-14: gpt-6.1-sol advertises 500K, caps at 872K and accepts 919,956 input tokens, while the -900k opt-in variant had silently stopped working because Hermes only raises a legacy 272K advertisement. The plugin reads the live catalog, writes one scoped model_overrides.<provider>.<model_id>.context_window entry per model (a documented step of context resolution, so no core patch), and ships a probe that bisects the API for the true ceiling because the refusal is a late SSE event, not an HTTP error. It also selects core's Codex-backed image provider so image_generate runs on the subscription with no OPENAI_API_KEY.
Good to know before installing
Uses the profile's Codex sign-in through Hermes's credentialed_provider_request (requires_auth: [openai-codex]); the plugin never reads auth.json and never holds a token, and network calls go only to chatgpt.com. Its only writes are scoped model_overrides entries and image_gen.provider (only when unset), through Hermes's atomic config writers; revert removes exactly what it wrote. No telemetry, no background processes, no shell commands, no self-updater. probe spends subscription quota (refused requests are free, accepted ones bill) and is never run automatically. Disclosure — uses the profile's Codex sign-in only through Hermes's credentialed_provider_request (requires_auth: openai-codex) and calls chatgpt.com only; its CLI and the model-callable codex_truly tool write scoped model_overrides context_window entries and image_gen.provider (only when unset) to config.yaml with no approval prompt, and `probe` sends large padding requests that spend subscription quota.

The Kimchi coding harness (kimchi.dev) as a Hermes model provider over ACP stdio — spawns kimchi --mode acp keeping the harness's permission prompts on (YOLO opt-in via KIMCHI_ACP_ARGS="--mode acp --yolo"), the harness owns its own auth, and completed tool calls surface as inline bullets in the reply.
Good to know before installing
Every turn spawns the local Kimchi CLI (`kimchi --mode acp`, overridable with KIMCHI_ACP_COMMAND / KIMCHI_ACP_ARGS) in Hermes's working directory and hands it the conversation. The harness calls kimchi.dev with its own stored login and runs its own shell, file and web tools. Its permission prompts stay on, and Hermes cancels them, so gated tools don't run, unless you opt in with KIMCHI_ACP_ARGS="--mode acp --yolo", which runs them with no approval prompt (not for shared gateway or cron use). To show setup status, it parses ~/.config/kimchi/config.json (or KIMCHI_CONFIG_PATH) only to check that a key is present; the key is never stored or sent by Hermes.

Safe AI Labs as a Hermes model provider (`--provider safeailabs`, or Safe AI Labs in `hermes model`): an OpenAI-compatible API with one endpoint per region, the model list from its /v1/models and the context window of its fallback model declared.
Good to know before installing
Registers one model provider at import and nothing else (no tools, hooks, commands or threads); chat requests and the model list go to https://us.api.safeailabs.ai/v1 (or SAFE_AI_BASE_URL) through Hermes' own client with SAFE_AI_KEY, which Hermes reads; the plugin itself opens no connections, reads and writes no files and starts no processes.
From the plugin's catalog listing.
How to install
Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs (this one needs SAFE_AI_KEY), then asks whether to turn it on.
hermes plugins install safeailabs-provider
Said no? Turn it on later:
hermes plugins enable safeailabs-provider
Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.

Windows desktop plugin that switches which Codex login and which Claude subscription account every local Hermes profile uses, with one idle-only, verified restart of the gateway (and, on Hermes before 0.22, of Hermes Desktop). Refuses while any profile is busy, restores the previous selection if a step fails, and writes a receipt that says whether the switch took effect.
Good to know before installing
Windows only. A switch rewrites, through Hermes's own commands, the Codex credential order in every profile's auth.json and the CLAUDE_SUBSCRIPTION_DIRECTSDK_CONFIG_DIR line in every profile's .env, so every profile that has the plugin enabled spends the same selected Codex login and the same Claude login (one Hermes-owned claude-auth folder; no token is copied between profiles). It reads Codex tokens from each profile's auth.json. On Hermes 0.22 and later it stops and restarts the gateway once Hermes's own idle proof and the gateway's drain report idle, and Hermes Desktop stays open and reconnects; on earlier Hermes it also reads the Desktop backends' dashboard session token from their process environment and closes and reopens Hermes Desktop (work started in the seconds after the idle check is cut off). It sends the target Codex token to OpenAI's usage endpoint and Claude login tokens to Anthropic's OAuth profile endpoint (also when the setup screen opens); if the target Claude login has expired it first runs the claude CLI once so the CLI renews its own token, which rotates that login's refresh token. No telemetry and no automatic account rotation.

Adaptive Inference Routing

Opt-in background scheduling for host-known delegated sessions, supported cron execution and explicit worker profiles using an existing Adaptive Inference gateway. Interactive and explicitly classified requests retain their routing; model, tools, prompts, output limits and credentials are unchanged.
Good to know before installing
Adds only X-Adaptive-Class on an exactly configured chat-completions endpoint. No network calls, file access, processes, telemetry or credential handling in plugin code. Uses a bounded in-memory session index. Cron detection requires the newer public execution-identity capability; auxiliary routing is an explicit provider configuration, not an auxiliary middleware claim.

Give the inference engine behind each request a standard, machine-readable view of the agent session that produced it. Injects an X-Agent-Hint header (base64url JSON: session identity and call index, lifecycle state, soft priority, a cache-pinning hint, optional measured statistics) on main LLM requests, and can emit session lifecycle events out of band as local ndjson or as POSTs to a URL you configure. Request bodies are never modified, and nothing is added or sent until the plugin is enabled. Lets a scheduler pin a session to the instance already holding its KV cache, or rank a user-blocked session above background work, without teaching the engine anything about the client.
Good to know before installing
When enabled, every main LLM request carries an X-Agent-Hint header (base64url JSON with the session id, call index, lifecycle state, priority and cache hints) to whatever provider is configured, not only hint-aware engines; with status_sink: http the same session events and usage/latency statistics are POSTed to the status_url you set, and ndjson writes them under $HERMES_HOME.

Read-only Home Assistant Recorder statistics tools (ha_list_statistics and ha_get_statistics).
Good to know before installing
Each call opens an authenticated WebSocket connection to the configured Home Assistant instance using the active profile HASS_TOKEN; returned statistic metadata and values become agent tool results and may reach the configured model provider. No telemetry, shell commands, background processes, credential storage or direct database access.

Jev Effort Router

Per-turn model AND reasoning-effort routing, decided by TypeSafe Jev, which rewrites the outgoing Ollama:Cloud provider request itself via the llm_request middleware.
Per-turn model AND reasoning-effort routing, decided by TypeSafe Jev, which rewrites the outgoing Ollama:Cloud provider request itself via the llm_request middleware. Every other catalog router picks a model and stops, and the two entries that touch reasoning effort move it by hand; this one decides both per turn. Ollama:Cloud only — no other provider is routed, and every failure path leaves the request byte-identical to a plugin-disabled run.
Good to know before installing

Liquid Inference, an auction exchange for LLM inference, as a Hermes model provider (provider id `liquid`): the exchange sends each request to the eligible offer with the lowest estimated charge, and each request carries a cap on its charge (1 USD by default; set `model.default_headers.x-liquid-cap-usd` to change it). Submitted by Architect, the operator of Liquid Inference.
Good to know before installing
Registers one model provider at import and nothing else (no tools, hooks, commands or threads). Chat requests (full prompts and tool results), auxiliary tasks (model `liquid.auto`) and the model list go through Hermes's own client to https://router.inference.ai.exchange/v1 (or LIQUID_BASE_URL) with LIQUID_API_KEY. The exchange forwards each request to whichever third-party provider wins its auction. Each request is billed up to its `x-liquid-cap-usd` cap (1 USD by default, set with `model.default_headers.x-liquid-cap-usd`) and carries `X-Title: Hermes Agent`. A top-level `reasoning_effort` is sent only when you select a level.

Direct Mistral Vibe subscription access — browser PKCE login, dedicated credential pool, account-visible catalog discovery, relay-verified reasoning_effort for GLM models.
Good to know before installing
Unofficial, not affiliated with Mistral. "hermes auth add mistral-vibe" runs a browser PKCE sign-in against Mistral's Vibe console endpoints (console.mistral.ai/api/vibe/*) and stores the returned API key in the Hermes credential pool (auth.json, slice mistral-vibe), or uses MISTRAL_VIBE_API_KEY. Prompts and model listing go only to api.mistral.ai/v1. Vibe subscription coverage of API use is not guaranteed and may bill as pay-as-you-go. Logout clears the local pool but does not revoke the key remotely.

Per-call delegation across your own subscriptions. The model sends each subagent to a named route with delegate_to(route, goal, context); each route pins a provider Hermes already knows (Claude, Codex or Antigravity subscription plugins, ACP provider plugins) and a model. delegate_task, by contrast, uses the one target in config.yaml. Subagents launch through ctx.subagent_lifecycle. A child counts as out of quota only on an unambiguous provider error or a measured window at 100 %, and the route never switches on its own: a policy decides whether the parent asks you, picks another route, or waits.
Good to know before installing
A pre_tool_call hook blocks delegate_task spawns while routes are configured (list/steer/stop pass); an api_request_error hook records quota errors in memory. Quota is read with Hermes' fetch_account_usage (Anthropic and OpenAI Codex) on /ohx quota and after a provider error. No other network egress, no files written.
From the plugin's catalog listing.
