Homeassistant Statistics

Read-only Home Assistant Recorder statistics tools (ha_list_statistics and ha_get_statistics).

Good to know before installing

Each call opens an authenticated WebSocket connection to the configured Home Assistant instance using the active profile HASS_TOKEN; returned statistic metadata and values become agent tool results and may reach the configured model provider. No telemetry, shell commands, background processes, credential storage or direct database access.

How to install

  1. Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs (this one needs HASS_TOKEN), then asks whether to turn it on.
    hermes plugins install homeassistant-statistics
  2. Said no? Turn it on later:
    hermes plugins enable homeassistant-statistics
  3. Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.

Some plugins also need a sign-in or settings: see Full setup & settings. Memory plugins ask whether to become your memory provider instead. Steps follow the official plugins guide (opens in a new tab).
