Nextcloud Talk

Signed Nextcloud Talk bot webhooks and text replies for Hermes, with JSON/XML OCS support.

Good to know before installing

Runs an HTTP webhook listener (default 0.0.0.0:8788, HMAC-verified with the bot secret) and sends messages and optional Basic-auth room lookups to your Nextcloud server; registers the `nextcloud_talk` gateway platform.

How to install

  1. Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs (this one needs NC_TALK_BASE_URL, NC_TALK_BOT_SECRET), then asks whether to turn it on.
    hermes plugins install nextcloud-talk
  2. Said no? Turn it on later:
    hermes plugins enable nextcloud-talk
  3. Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.
