Hermes Token Speed
Live decode tokens-per-second chip for the Hermes Desktop status bar: 1-second sliding window while the model is still streaming, tool execution time excluded from decode seconds, UI spinner frames never counted, TTFT tracked separately, cumulative totals calibrated against authoritative provider usage at turn end. Desktop-only (desktop/plugin.js); no agent tools, hooks, middleware or env vars.
How to install
- Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs, then asks whether to turn it on.
hermes plugins install hermes-token-speed - Said no? Turn it on later:
hermes plugins enable hermes-token-speed - Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.
Some plugins also need a sign-in or settings: see Full setup & settings. Memory plugins ask whether to become your memory provider instead. Steps follow the official plugins guide (opens in a new tab).
