Web Deepseek
DeepSeek Search + Fetch — routes web_search and web_extract through DeepSeek's in-house AI search engine and server-side fetcher on api.deepseek.com (opened up in the vendor's 2026-10-17 changelog: AI-native engine indexing hundreds of billions of pages, multilingual, filters SEO spam / GEO manipulation / low-quality AIGC). Registers the provider id `deepseek-web`.
Good to know before installing
Each search/fetch is a separate billed DeepSeek call at $0.75 per 1,000 successful requests per endpoint, and only HTTP 200 responses that produce a result are billable (5 QPS per account per endpoint, plus a per-domain QPS limit on fetch); the provider reuses DEEPSEEK_API_KEY and sends it only to api.deepseek.com; extract returns Markdown only (no HTML variant, so web_extract(format="html") gets Markdown), and anti-bot or JS-rendered sites fail (zhihu.com, x.com, nytimes.com returned HTTP 404 in testing) while static pages work.
