Linkup

Linkup web search: live cited search (fast/standard/deep), URL-to-Markdown fetch with JS rendering, async deep research, and a Linkup backend for the built-in web_search / web_extract tools.

Good to know before installing

Sends search queries, fetch URLs and research briefs to api.linkup.so with your LINKUP_API_KEY (Linkup fetches pages server-side); when selected with hermes linkup use-as-web-backend it also handles the built-in web_search and web_extract calls; large fetched pages are cached under $HERMES_HOME/cache/linkup for 24 hours.

How to install

Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs (this one needs LINKUP_API_KEY), then asks whether to turn it on.
hermes plugins install linkup
Said no? Turn it on later:
hermes plugins enable linkup
Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.

Some plugins also need a sign-in or settings: see Full setup & settings. Memory plugins ask whether to become your memory provider instead. Steps follow the official plugins guide (opens in a new tab).
