Jira Browser

Jira workspace for Hermes Desktop, linking tickets to Hermes Projects, worktrees, and conversations.

Good to know before installing

Reads a Jira API token from JIRA_* env vars or ~/jira-config/config.json (owner-only, read-only) and sends it only to your configured https Jira origin; agent tools are read-only but return Jira text (untrusted) to the model; Start work / Draft update create chats seeded with ticket descriptions (Draft update auto-runs a turn); PR/CI status is read through your local gh CLI login.

How to install

  1. Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs, then asks whether to turn it on.
    hermes plugins install jira-browser
  2. Said no? Turn it on later:
    hermes plugins enable jira-browser
  3. Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.

Some plugins also need a sign-in or settings: see Full setup & settings. Memory plugins ask whether to become your memory provider instead. Steps follow the official plugins guide (opens in a new tab).
