Grok Acp

xAI Grok subscription as a Hermes model provider, driven over ACP stdio.

Good to know before installing

Spawns the vendor grok CLI found on PATH (grok agent over ACP stdio, plus grok models / grok login during setup) and drives your existing Grok subscription login; no API key is stored and Hermes provider secrets are stripped from the child environment.

How to install

  1. Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs, then asks whether to turn it on.
    hermes plugins install grok-acp
  2. Said no? Turn it on later:
    hermes plugins enable grok-acp
  3. Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.

Some plugins also need a sign-in or settings: see Full setup & settings. Memory plugins ask whether to become your memory provider instead. Steps follow the official plugins guide (opens in a new tab).
