Anyrouter

AnyRouter — unified model gateway (OpenAI-compatible); /model picker filtered to tool-capable routes, first-party meta-models like anyrouter/hermes.

Good to know before installing

Sends your prompts and ANYROUTER_API_KEY to anyrouter.dev, a third-party relay that forwards to upstream vendors (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, …), on some plans through a shared pool of other members' donated free-tier vendor keys; billed in prepaid AnyRouter credits. anyrouter/hermes is AnyRouter's own routing meta-model, not a Nous Research model. Opt-in ANYROUTER_APP_ATTRIBUTION=1 adds Hermes attribution headers.

How to install

  1. Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs (this one needs ANYROUTER_API_KEY), then asks whether to turn it on.
    hermes plugins install anyrouter
  2. Said no? Turn it on later:
    hermes plugins enable anyrouter
  3. Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.

Some plugins also need a sign-in or settings: see Full setup & settings. Memory plugins ask whether to become your memory provider instead. Steps follow the official plugins guide (opens in a new tab).
