Source installs of Hermes update from one published release to the next by default. A switch in Settings > About > Updates lets you follow every commit on main instead.

HermesWatcher @HermesWatcher ·
Hermes just merged a much cleaner update choice for source installs.Settings → About → Updates can now offer:Stable releases: update from one published vX.Y.Z release to the next.Every commit: update against main to get development changes before the next release.Stable is now the default for official source installs.“Every commit” does not mean every commit installs automatically. It changes what Hermes targets when you update.Packaged Desktop works differently. Stable and Canary are separate apps with fixed channels, so there’s no switch between them. And “stable” means released, not bug-free.

Hand Hermes an outcome. A judge model checks every turn, and Hermes keeps going until it's met or paused. Transcript

Hand Hermes an outcome, not a to-do. After every turn a judge model checks whether it's done. Hermes keeps going until it is, or pauses when its turn budget runs out. A test command can act as a quality gate. Transcript

Hermes signs in to sites with logins from its vault, 1Password or Bitwarden, and can enter 2FA codes too. Transcript

Hermes signs in to websites with logins from its encrypted vault, 1Password or Bitwarden, and the model never sees the password. Codes from a saved authenticator key are filled for you, and every card fill asks first. Transcript
