No sound. Below: what's on screen, beat by beat.

  1. At 0:00

A Google Cloud console "Credentials" page fills the left of a browser. On the right, the "Hermes Browser Extension" side panel shows a chat where Hermes has replied with numbered setup steps. Most of the message above the reply is blurred for privacy.

  2. At 0:09

The panel switches to "Settings", with a "HERMES BROWSER" banner and sections for the agent profile and the connected agent's host and ports.

  3. At 0:12

Scrolling down reaches the appearance settings: a Light, Dark and System color mode switch and a "Text zoom" grid. The zoom changes from 100% to 110%, then 175%, and the text grows to match.

  4. At 0:19

A "Theme" grid of color palettes appears. Clicking a swatch turns the whole panel bright blue.

  5. At 0:24

Another swatch turns the panel magenta, and the new theme stays applied as more settings scroll past.

  6. At 0:30

A browser session section, partly blurred for privacy, shows the active Google Cloud console tab, "Follow Hermes" and "Enable control" buttons, and a "Selection" switch.

  7. At 0:36

Back in the appearance settings, the font family menu opens and "Monospace" is chosen. The panel text switches to a monospaced font.

  8. At 0:40

The menu opens again, listing "Hermes signature", "System sans", "High legibility", "Monospace" and "Installed local font".

  9. At 0:42

With "Installed local font" selected, a local font name field holds "Atkinson Hyperlegible", with the note "Invalid local font family" under it.

  10. At 0:48

The panel returns to the chat. Hermes's steps say to click "Create credentials", choose "OAuth client ID", set the application type to "Desktop app" and click "Download JSON".

  11. At 0:51

In the "Ask Hermes about this page..." box, with the current page attached, the user types "Hermes.. Run it" and sends it.

  12. At 0:57

Hermes's reply shows a "(o_o)" face and a status that cycles through "thinking", "brainstorming", "contemplating" and "reasoning".

  13. At 1:04

The video ends while Hermes is still working, before a reply appears, and the screen goes black for the last second.

A community browser side panel for Chromium browsers and Firefox. Per the project's docs, it connects to your own Hermes, local or remote, and lets it work with the page you're on.

Hermes Browser Extension v0.3.0 just landed. You already had a browser inside Hermes Desktop. Now flip it around.Bring Hermes into your browser. 💻Open the side panel next to whatever you're doing and let Hermes work with the page you're already on.I used it inside Google Cloud while working through Gmail API setup. If you've spent any time in there, you know that is not exactly a friendly little website. Hermes handled it extremely well.Research a page. Work through complicated setup screens. Draft without leaving the site. Let Hermes help move through multi-step browser work without constantly bouncing back and forth. You can also switch between built-in themes, Light/Dark modes, or add your own custom theme. 🎨Hermes, right where you're already working.Give Hermes the repo and ask it to help you set it up.@jonkomet Killed it with this update 🔥
