Viajante
Flight and hotel search from your own machine through a local MCP server and one skill that tells the agent how to read the results. Portable Agent Plugins v1 package (mcp.json + skills/). No API keys and no account.
Good to know before installing
Mcp.json runs `npx -y @viajante/mcp@1.5.2`, which downloads the pinned npm shim and then `uvx` installs the same-version `viajante` package from PyPI on first start, so it needs Node.js, uv and Python 3.10+. Searches read Google Flights and Google Hotels public pages from your IP address (Booking.com and Skiplagged are opt-in). Optional local state (price-history log, cooldown file) is written under the viajante state directory. Nothing is booked and no credentials are stored.

How to install
- Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs, then asks whether to turn it on.
hermes plugins install viajante - Said no? Turn it on later:
hermes plugins enable viajante - Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.
Some plugins also need a sign-in or settings: see Full setup & settings. Memory plugins ask whether to become your memory provider instead. Steps follow the official plugins guide (opens in a new tab).
