TIDAL

TIDAL for Hermes Agent: five tools (playback through local mpv, search, playlists, library, mixes) over the unofficial TIDAL API via tidalapi. Login is TIDAL's own PKCE login flow (hermes tidal login) — no developer app needed. Playback runs on the Hermes machine (mpv); TIDAL has no remote-device API like Spotify Connect. Needs a TIDAL subscription (any tier).

Good to know before installing

Unofficial TIDAL integration (community tidalapi library using TIDAL's own app client); stores your TIDAL access and refresh token in plaintext (owner-only, 0600) under $HERMES_HOME/plugin-data/tidal/ and refreshes it itself; playback spawns a detached local mpv process with an IPC socket and plays audio on the Hermes machine.

How to install

Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs, then asks whether to turn it on.

Said no? Turn it on later:
hermes plugins enable tidal
Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.
