RentAHuman

Find people and coordinate real-world work through the RentAHuman marketplace.

Good to know before installing

Runs the third-party `rentahuman-mcp` server via npx, which sends your requests and your RentAHuman API key to rentahuman.ai and stores agent identity keys in `~/.rentahuman-identities/`; its tools can post and fund tasks, accept workers, send messages and release real money to people — write-capable calls ask for approval because the server is marked `trust: untrusted`, but each approval moves money or commits you to work.

How to install

  1. Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs (this one needs RENTAHUMAN_API_KEY), then asks whether to turn it on.
    hermes plugins install rentahuman
  2. Said no? Turn it on later:
    hermes plugins enable rentahuman
  3. Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.

Some plugins also need a sign-in or settings: see Full setup & settings. Memory plugins ask whether to become your memory provider instead. Steps follow the official plugins guide (opens in a new tab).
