Memoria

Memoria Cloud memory provider with scoped recall, explicit memory tools and opt-in background capture.

Good to know before installing

Sends recall queries and explicit memory operations to api.thememoria.ai by default (or a configured self-hosted origin). When enabled, auto capture uploads completed user/assistant text for fact extraction, excluding tool results and media. A local SQLite outbox stores pending text; credentials are resolved through the active Hermes profile's MEMORIA_API_KEY secret.

How to install

  1. Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs (this one needs MEMORIA_API_KEY), then asks whether to turn it on.
    hermes plugins install memoria
  2. Said no? Turn it on later:
    hermes plugins enable memoria
  3. Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.

Some plugins also need a sign-in or settings: see Full setup & settings. Memory plugins ask whether to become your memory provider instead. Steps follow the official plugins guide (opens in a new tab).
