DAG-based context engine that never loses a message — full-text search, semantic recall, assertion-backed evidence compilation, and pre-answer sufficiency gating

Good to know before installing

Replaces the context engine and stores every turn's full raw transcript in HERMES_HOME/trove.db with secret redaction OFF by default; with TROVE_EMBEDDING_PROVIDER=voyage, transcript text is sent to Voyage AI for embeddings; as a fallback it reads private AIAgent attributes read-only via frame inspection. No other network egress.

How to install

Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs (this one needs TROVE_ENABLE_SLASH_COMMAND), then asks whether to turn it on.
hermes plugins install hermes-trove
Said no? Turn it on later:
hermes plugins enable hermes-trove
Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.

Some plugins also need a sign-in or settings: see Full setup & settings. Memory plugins ask whether to become your memory provider instead. Steps follow the official plugins guide (opens in a new tab).
