Hermes Mpp

Pay supported HTTP 402 MPP challenges on Tempo through mpp_fetch and in-process HTTPX clients. Uses a dedicated wallet.

Good to know before installing

With MPP_ALLOWED_ORIGINS unset, any supported HTTP 402 MPP challenge returned to core HTTPX traffic (not only mpp_fetch) is auto-paid from the Tempo wallet with no per-payment cap or confirmation; the origin allowlist is the operator's control.

How to install

  1. Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs (this one needs TEMPO_PRIVATE_KEY), then asks whether to turn it on.
    hermes plugins install hermes-mpp
  2. Said no? Turn it on later:
    hermes plugins enable hermes-mpp
  3. Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.

Some plugins also need a sign-in or settings: see Full setup & settings. Memory plugins ask whether to become your memory provider instead. Steps follow the official plugins guide (opens in a new tab).
