Good Student

Wrong-question diagnosis and study-action loop for parents and students — deterministic local core (SQLite, no cloud), host-model recognition gated by parent confirmation. Portable Agent Plugins v1 package (mcp.json + skills/); good-student MCP server pinned to immutable commit 2469cbb over uvx, with the good-student workflow skill bundled. Needs Python 3.10+ via uv. No credentials required; all data stays on-device and nothing is uploaded.

How to install

  1. Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs, then asks whether to turn it on.
    hermes plugins install good-student
  2. Said no? Turn it on later:
    hermes plugins enable good-student
  3. Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.

Some plugins also need a sign-in or settings: see Full setup & settings. Memory plugins ask whether to become your memory provider instead. Steps follow the official plugins guide (opens in a new tab).
