Official Hermes Agent integration for Frihet — discoverability, setup, diagnostics, and operating guidance for the Frihet MCP. Zero duplicated tools; the canonical Frihet MCP surface stays in @frihet/mcp-server and the remote endpoint https://mcp.frihet.io/mcp.
Good to know before installing
/frihet setup and /frihet doctor send an unauthenticated MCP initialize to mcp.frihet.io (or FRIHET_MCP_URL); /frihet doctor also makes one read-only list_invoices call through Hermes's MCP client once you grant plugins.entries.frihet.mcp_allowlist; reads ~/.hermes/config.yaml only to check that an mcp_servers.frihet block exists; the pre_tool_call hook prompts before Frihet MCP calls it classifies as irreversible or unknown, but reads and draft-first creates pass without a prompt unless the server sets trust: untrusted.

How to install
- Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs, then asks whether to turn it on.
hermes plugins install frihet - Said no? Turn it on later:
hermes plugins enable frihet - Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.
Some plugins also need a sign-in or settings: see Full setup & settings. Memory plugins ask whether to become your memory provider instead. Steps follow the official plugins guide (opens in a new tab).
