Birkin Mnemosyne
Local Markdown memory provider with multilingual lexical recall and profile-local durable notes. Create-only writes are limited to primary agent contexts. Uses published birkin-mnemosyne 0.7.2 with compatible updates below 1.0; no API key, network service or telemetry. Session handoff capture is opt-in. Native Hermes memory files remain separate.
How to install
- Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs, then asks whether to turn it on.
hermes plugins install birkin-mnemosyne - Said no? Turn it on later:
hermes plugins enable birkin-mnemosyne - Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.
Some plugins also need a sign-in or settings: see Full setup & settings. Memory plugins ask whether to become your memory provider instead. Steps follow the official plugins guide (opens in a new tab).
