Agent Memory Es

Self-owned long-term memory backed by the agent-memory-es service (Elasticsearch). Three agent tools — recall, retain, reflect — over episodic/ semantic/procedural tiers with hybrid BM25+kNN recall and server-enforced private/team/common visibility. Requires a running agent-memory-es instance.

Good to know before installing

Each user prompt (as a recall query), each user message and Hermes memory writes are sent to the agent-memory-es service at AMES_SERVICE_URL (default localhost:8123) with AMES_SERVICE_KEY; the model may store facts in shared team/common visibility tiers.

How to install

Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs (this one needs AMES_SERVICE_URL, AMES_SERVICE_KEY), then asks whether to turn it on.
hermes plugins install agent_memory_es
Said no? Turn it on later:
hermes plugins enable agent_memory_es
Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.
