Quote and order custom 3D printed and CNC machined parts from your CAD files through the hosted Make Parts Now MCP server (Streamable HTTP, no sign-in to quote), with the quote-parts workflow skill bundled: upload an STL, STEP, 3MF or OBJ file, get the price and ship date for each production speed (SLS nylon, FDM plastic, CNC aluminum and brass), change the quantity, material or speed, and get a checkout link. Portable Agent Plugins v1 package (mcp.json + skills/), configuration only.

## Good to know before installing

Hosted-only connector with no local code; every tool call goes to makepartsnow.com. To quote a local file the agent uploads that one CAD file with curl through the terminal tool (Hermes approvals apply) to a one-time upload link, or gives the user an upload page. Nothing is charged in chat: checkout links open Stripe Checkout on makepartsnow.com where the user pays. US shipping only.

## How to install

1. Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs, then asks whether to turn it on.

hermes plugins install make-parts-now
```

2. Said no? Turn it on later:

```bash
hermes plugins enable make-parts-now
```

3. Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.
