## Good to know before installing

Sends search queries, fetch URLs and research briefs to api.linkup.so with your LINKUP_API_KEY (Linkup fetches pages server-side); when selected with hermes linkup use-as-web-backend it also handles the built-in web_search and web_extract calls; large fetched pages are cached under $HERMES_HOME/cache/linkup for 24 hours.

## How to install

1. Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs (this one needs `LINKUP_API_KEY`), then asks whether to turn it on.

```bash
hermes plugins install linkup
```

2. Said no? Turn it on later:

```bash
hermes plugins enable linkup
```

3. Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.
