## Good to know before installing

Registers one model provider at import and nothing else (no tools, hooks, commands or threads); chat requests and the model list go to lightning.ai through Hermes' own client with LIGHTNING_API_KEY (or LIGHTNING_AI_API_KEY), optional LIGHTNING_BASE_URL overrides the endpoint; the plugin itself opens no connections, reads/writes no files and starts no processes.

## How to install

1. Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs (this one needs `LIGHTNING_API_KEY`), then asks whether to turn it on.

```bash
hermes plugins install lightningai
```

2. Said no? Turn it on later:

```bash
hermes plugins enable lightningai
```

3. Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.
