## Good to know before installing

Reads focused session/project metadata; may read the live roster and transcript to verify empty sources, even for Start fresh. Copy context and Brief handoff store selected source text in a new target-profile session. No automatic submission or model call. Cross-gateway handoffs have no inherited project; source chat, composer drafts and profile configuration are not modified.

## How to install

1. Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs, then asks whether to turn it on.

```bash
hermes plugins install hermes-profile-switcher
```

2. Said no? Turn it on later:

```bash
hermes plugins enable hermes-profile-switcher
```

3. Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.
