pre_llm_call hook plugin, enabled with `hermes plugins enable`: injects ambient context from a GBrain instance before each turn (volunteer_context, then a hybrid-query fallback). Not a `memory.provider`. Silent no-op when GBrain is unreachable or no token is set.

## Good to know before installing

Before each non-trivial turn the last six user and assistant messages (truncated) and the current message are sent with a GBRAIN_TOKEN bearer token to GBRAIN_MCP_URL (default http://127.0.0.1:3131/mcp), and returned brain-page text is injected into the turn.

From the plugin's catalog listing.

## How to install

1. Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs, then asks whether to turn it on.

```bash
hermes plugins install gbrain-retrieval-reflex
```

2. Said no? Turn it on later:

```bash
hermes plugins enable gbrain-retrieval-reflex
```

3. Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.

Some plugins also need a sign-in or settings: see the official page. Memory plugins ask whether to become your memory provider instead. Steps follow the official plugins guide: https://hermes-agent.nousresearch.com/docs/user-guide/features/plugins
