# Custom Dangerous Patterns: Hermes Agent plugin

Add custom dangerous command patterns to Hermes's built-in approval system. Users define regex patterns in YAML; a pre_tool_call hook sends block patterns to Hermes's human approval gate and blocks deny patterns immediately. Modifies no Hermes internals.

## How to install

1. Install it. Hermes asks for any API keys it needs, then asks whether to turn it on.

```bash
hermes plugins install custom-dangerous-patterns
```

2. Said no? Turn it on later:

```bash
hermes plugins enable custom-dangerous-patterns
```

3. Restart Hermes so it loads the plugin.
